Generations of weaving, passed to generations
The Selli Silk Studio did not start with a shop. It started with a family that knew looms — which yarn holds its colour, how tightly a border should be woven, why one saree falls beautifully and another never quite does.
That knowledge is what we bring to every piece we select. We work directly with weaving families, develop designs with them, and reject far more than we keep. What reaches you is silk that was made with intention, by people who have been doing this their whole lives.
We call it modern meets the tradition — contemporary colour and design sensibility, on a foundation that has not changed in centuries.
